Anyone attending a Girth & Mirth event prior to 2002 may remember seeing photo albums in the hospitality suites containing extensive pictures of previous events. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed browsing through these albums seeing old friends or perhaps seeing soon to be friends (hopefully) of guys you thought were just plain HOT!

Rick was the person responsible for providing this gracious service. He took all of the photos, had them developed, paid for the prints and albums, and by no small effort hauled them to and from each event. He did this out of a love for photography and his Girth & Mirth brothers, knowing that his efforts were appreciated and well accepted.

Such an effort does take its toll physically, emotionally, and monetarily. After an unpleasant situation of missing albums at one event, Rick decided enough is enough. He needed a new concept.

A new concept you say? In comes GREG!

Greg knowing Rick's plight, suggested and offered to construct a web site for Rick and his art in order to share his talent with the world. Of course Rick, being a photographer and not a computer specialist, thought this was a fantastic idea. After some pondering over a domain name, www.PickByRick.com was born.

Greg had the patience, know-how, and desire to get PicsByRick up on the world wide web and create what is now a high traffic, frequently returned to site. Chubs and chasers come by the thousands to see Rick's photos.

This did not happen without a price. All who visit this site owe a huge THANK YOU to Greg. We cannot even begin to estimate the HOURS, DAYS,WEEKS and MONTHS of time that Greg put in to setting up the site, formatting photos, writing code, and processing thousands of images to make the site what it is today.

Greg actively administers 9 other web sites leaving him without any spare time. His dedication, commitment, and unselfish sacrifice involved in making this site a reality are genuinely appreciated by not only Rick, but the thousands of internet users visiting this site daily.
